The Exercise Neuroscience Research Laboratory (ENRL) conducts rigorous research that focuses on physical activity and its measurement, determinants, consequences and promotion. The goal of our research involves the provision of scientific evidence for the application of physical activity for maintaining and improving brain structure, function and connectivity; optimizing walking and cognitive function; managing symptoms of fatigue, depression and pain; and enhancing quality of life and promoting independence.
